The second leg in the semi-finals of the Belgian Cup was not an easy one for David Hubert's team. The match ended in a 1-2 defeat, requiring a penalty shootout to determine the finalist. Verschaeren's return is imminent

Anderlecht has been hit hard by the prolonged absence of Thorgan Hazard, but can look forward to the return of Yari Verschaeren. At the end of the regular season, Verschaeren had to leave the field early because of a muscle injury. This prevented him from participating in the playoffs. According to press reports, RSC Anderlecht would be interested in Swede Samuel Dahl, a left-back from Djurgården who can also play as a left winger or central midfielder.
