Lukaku: 'Return earlier than people think'

TRANSFERS In an interview with RTL Sports, Romelu Lukaku has hinted that his return to Anderlecht will happen earlier than what is commonly thought. Now don't think that Lukaku will play for Purple and White next season, as the Red Devils' top marksman is still under contract with Chelsea until 2026. But maybe something is possible after that?


Lukaku repeated once again that he will definitely return. After all, it has been 13 years since Romelu played his last game for Anderlecht. Lukaku says he especially misses his mother and his children. Lukaku's oldest son Romeo plays with Anderlecht's youth team.
