Also professional contract for 15-year-old Vervloet

OTHER Thomas Vervloet is the next in the list of 15-year-olds who can sign a professional contract. The U16 captain today signed an agreement until 2027.


After a year at Beerschot, Vervloet came to Anderlecht in 2015 at the age of 6. Last season he played with the U16s. Although he is a year younger than the rest, he was captain.

"Thomas is a gifted player on the ball," says Mikkel Hemmersam, director of the academy. "He is defensively intelligent and has excellent positional play. He also has a good personality on the field and a strong desire to learn. We believe he has a promising future."
