YOUTH Under the influence of Jean Kindermans, the new person in charge of the academy at Antwerp, the club has once again recruited players from Anderlecht's youth academy. Earlier, Jef Luyckx and Luka Vereecken were recruited, and now Mohamed Waki and his brother Imrane have also made the move. Mohamed Waki, a technical playmaker, struggled to show his potential at Anderlecht and has now sought a new club.
In addition to the Waki brothers, Vince Vermeulen is also leaving for Antwerp. Most of the departing players at Anderlecht are youngsters who got little playing time or were at the end of their period at the club. In summary, several players from various age categories left Anderlecht, with the Waki brothers' move to Antwerp standing out in particular. Certainly Imrane is very talented.
