OTHER Anouar Ait El Hadj is about to swap Genk for Union. This is what Het Nieuwsblad knows. If this is a final transfer, and it looks like it will be, it will be a good thing for Anderlecht. After all, Purple White is entitled to part of the transfer fee.
A year and a half ago, Anderlecht sold Ait El Hadj to Racing Genk. The Limburgers paid 2 million euros. The deal also included a clause that Anderlecht would receive a percentage in the event of a subsequent resale.
Ait El Hadj may thus become the second former player to line the Anderlecht coffers. Sergio Gomez is close to a transfer from Manchester City to Real Sociedad. Again, Anderlecht is entitled to a percentage.
