Offer for Cenk Özkacar rejected

TRANSFERS Anderlecht are reported to have made an offer for Cenk Özkacar, a 23-year-old Turkish left-footed central defender who currently plays at Valencia, although he can also perform as a left-back. Özkacar is 1m90 tall and played 25 games last season in which he gave one assist. He also already collected nine caps for the Turkish national team. In the 2021-2022 season, Özkacar was loaned to OHL by Lyon before being acquired by Valencia.


His contract runs until June 2028 and his market value is estimated at four million euros. Purple and White are said to have offered him a loan with an option to buy. However, the player is only moderately interested and prefers to wait for an offer from one of the five big European leagues.

As a result, Anderlecht itself did not yet contact his club Valencia.
