Continue reading Fredberg: ‘Now that we have committed Jan Vertonghen for an additional season, Jan-Carlo is the next important piece of the puzzle. He is a particularly talented, young player with some experience anyway in one of the biggest leagues in Europe. He fits our style of play: he is a player who likes to have the ball and will have his value in the build-up, but is also aggressive and strong in the duels when defending.'
‘He is also a player with a mature personality for his age. So we are very satisfied that we were able to capture a young talent with a bright future for the long term.'
Simić: ‘I am very proud to sign with such a prestigious club like Anderlecht. Everyone knows Anderlecht and the world-class players who started their careers here. So it seems like the perfect step for me to grow further and learn from the more experienced players. I look forward to celebrating victories with my fellow players and the fans.'
