Gassimou Sylla also signs pro contract

YOUTH With Gassimou Sylla, another young player has signed a professional contract with Anderlecht. The almost 16-year-old striker was born in Guinea and moved to Belgium at a young age. Five years ago, he joined the Andelecht squad at the Heyzel, but was soon brought to Neerpede.


‘Sylla is a talented attacking player who can play in multiple positions, either as number 9, 7 or 11. He works hard, has an eye for goal and also shows a good work ethic,' said head of youth training Mikkel Hemmersam. ‘We are curious to see the steps he can make in the coming years.'

Sylla, who celebrates his 16th birthday on 10 August, will sign a contract until 2026.
