Medical tests for Foket, transfer imminent

TRANSFERS Thomas Foket (29) is on his way to Belgium to finalise his transfer to Anderlecht. The right-back left Stade Reims' training camp in Japan and did not take part in a friendly game. Foket will sign a three-season contract with Anderlecht.


According to Het Nieuwsblad, all parties have an agreement on the transfer. Foket does still have to undergo medical tests before the deal is finalized, expected before the end of the week.

Kilian Sardella is also on the verge of re-signing. This means there will soon be three options at right-back: Sardella, Foket and Patris. It is likely the club will seek a solution for the latter.
