GAMES Anderlecht was unable to secure a third consecutive victory, settling for a 1-1 draw against OHL. The first half saw Anderlecht play solidly, with Dolberg missing a chance to make it 2-0 after his opening goal, before Maertens equalized just before halftime. Anderlecht struggled to make an impact in the second half, with OHL posing a threat and testing the Anderlecht defense, missing the leadership of Vertonghen.
Both teams had a strong start, with chances for Verschaeren and N'Dri. But Dolberg put Anderlecht ahead in the 36th minute, though missed a crucial opportunity to double the lead just before halftime. This allowed Maertens to equalize right before the breaking, turning away from his direct opponent (Leoni) and placing the ball in the net with a hard and precise shot.
In the second half, Anderlecht had difficulty creating chances, with Dolberg's shot in the 70th minute being their first real threat. OHL pushed more in the final stages, with Anderlecht failing to create clear opportunities. A late free-kick from Amuzu narrowly missed the target, leaving Anderlecht unable to avoid losing points.
