GAMES Like it was a league game. Anderlecht won 0-1 against Dinamo Minsk yesterday, but again it was not great. An early goal from Ludwig Augstinsson gave purple and white a small bonus for the return match. Colin Coosemans did the rest.

Anderlecht had travelled to Hungary with the intention of scoring early. The visitors immediately took control of the game and that resulted in the 0-1 after ten minutes. Rits kicked a corner kick up to Augustinsson and the Swede headed the ball into goal.

Those who thought Anderlecht had left for a basket of goals were disappointed. Purple and White played too slow and hardly created any openings. Consequently, we also saw virtually no chances.

No improvement after the break. Even better: the home team could actually be dangerous on the counter a few times. Fortunately, Coosemans continued his performance of recent games. The keeper saved some fine attempts.

Riemer tried to add some fire to the team with Dolberg, Ashimeru and later Verschaeren. The latter caused a slight flare-up, but the 0-2 was never in the air.

Next week Anderlecht may finish the job at home. Against a weak opponent like Dinamo Minsk, that should not be a problem. But if a Belarusian goal falls from the sky and Anderlecht acts like yesterday, it will still be shaky.
