Today medical tests Dendoncker

TRANSFERS Leander Dendoncker (29) is on his way to Belgium to complete his switch to Anderlecht. Medical tests will follow today in Ghent. Negotiations with his current club are now progressing positively. He will leave Aston Villa on loan, but probably without an option to buy. Details on his salary are currently being finalized.


Dendoncker also had an offer from Las Palmas, but prefers a return to his youth club to boost his career. At Anderlecht, he will be deployed as both a controlling midfielder and central defender, giving the club an extra option for that position. Anderlecht will also immediately add the necessary physical presence to the midfield with his arrival.
