‘It has turned out to be an interesting draw, because each time we come out against one high and one lower-ranked team from each pot. We enter this phase of the Europa League with a certain amount of respect, but also with ambition to achieve something and represent Anderlecht's emblem in Europe.'

‘If we look at the specific opponents, it's actually a very interesting mix. The home game against Porto, a big club with a great tradition, is a nice affair, also for our fans. Sociedad on away will be an exciting experience, they have performed exceptionally well in recent seasons and have delivered many players for Spain at the European Championships.'

‘And then there are teams like Ludogorets that we already know. I must say I am happy we are playing against them at home. We have to conclude from this that there is definitely a role for us in the Europa League and we will start every match with healthy ambitions.'
