TRANSFERS Is it fact or is it bluff poker? Speaking to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, Christian Eriksen's manager has told that the Danish midfielder will stay at Manchester United. The man also indicated that he has only had informal contact with Anderlecht.

Martin Schoots, Eriksen's manager, says there was a lot of interest in his poulain. Clubs from the United States, the Arab world and Turkey not an option because Eriksen wants to stay in Western Europe with his family. But now, therefore, a departure is out of the question. ‘Christian is confident of getting enough playing minutes. United play every three days,' Schoots says.

There has been speculation all summer about Eriksen and a transfer to Anderlecht. ‘‘There has been informal contact with Anderlecht, but never more than that,' said Schoots, who denies Ajax made contact in the summer. They did in January.

Sources at Het Nieuwsblad we somewhat contradict Schoots' words. They claim that Ajax did inquire this summer and that Anderlecht ‘wrapped its tentacles around the file'.
