Piste Mvumpa appears to be staying at Stuttgart

OTHER The chances of Anderlecht hiring Congolese Mvumpa from Stuttgart seem to have become slim. Sacha Tavolieri reports that the player's agent has stated that no personal agreement could be found despite talks.


Mvumpa would remain with Stuttgart, even though his chances of playing there would be greatly reduced. Mvumpa was keen on a move to Anderlecht because his family lives in Brussels and because he knows some of Anderlecht's players personally. So maybe Fredberg will make an ultimate attempt today or tomorrow after all?

The transfer market in Belgium runs until 6 September, but 4 September is the deadline to send the list to UEFA for Europe. So after 4 September, there will more than likely be no more incoming transfers.
