Official: Hubert will remain head coach

OTHER Forget and scrap all rumours surrounding the arrival of a new head coach at Anderlecht. The club has confirmed that David Hubert (36) will remain head coach.


The Anderlecht board is therefore giving Hubert his full chance as head coach. They also decided a while ago to skipper Hubert from the U18 to the first team after the dismissal of Brian Riemer. Hubert provisionally reached 5/9 in the league and 6/6 in the Europa League. Talks with Tottenham's Ryan Mason had apparently led to a personal agreement, but they still chose Hubert.

CEO Sports Fredberg: ‘In recent weeks, we have seen positive signs and observed a new dynamic within the first team. Therefore, we want to give David the chance to continue his work. David is a young coach who has seized his opportunity.'
