Hubert: “Not defended aggressively enough”

Coach David Hubert suffered his first defeat at Beerschot and it was immediately one that could count. According to Hubert, both halves were similar and, above all, not defending aggressively enough was at the root of both avoidable goals against.

Hubert saw the same defining match elements before and after halftime. Hubert said his team missed the moment in the opening stages to take the lead and did not defend aggressively enough on the counter.

After halftime, the team wanted to bring the same as before halftime, but other than the converted penalty kick, Anderlecht failed to score, despite a number of opportunities and promising phases. Hubert also saw his team miss out on the second goal where again there was insufficient aggressive defense.

Kasper Dolberg followed his coach's lead. He said there was sufficient aggressive play, but not on the two goals against.
