OTHER After the misbehavior of some, Anderlecht is not allowed to bring any supporters on Thursday against Rigas. Still, according to Het Nieuwsblad, some 500 Anderlecht fans will travel to Latvia. Through detours, at least a part of them hopes to reach the stadium.

Het Nieuwsblad spoke with two fans, who want to remain anonymous, who will travel to Latvia. They explain how they booked plane tickets and hotel accommodation immediately after the draw, without cancellation insurance. 'Those airline tickets, of course, we don't throw them in the garbage,' it sounds.

The fans in question will travel to Latvia and they hope to watch the match in the stadium. Both separately testify how the same succeeded two years ago in Silkeborg, when Purple-White had received the same sanction after riots at West Ham. One of the two even already has tickets to sit among the home supporters.

However, the Brussels and Latvian police do not expect any problems. “But I do wonder how UEFA will react if it turns out that the sanction is simply circumvented,” said Brussels police commissioner Philippe Boucar.
