INTERVIEWS Aimé Anthuenis was a successful coach at RSC Anderlecht in the 2000s, winning the league twice in 2000 and 2001. He also enjoyed a great Champion's League campaign during his time at the Parc Astrid.
He was a fervent supporter of Jan Koller's arrival at the club, which proved a great success. He recognizes the talent of Kasper Dolberg, the Purple's current striker, but is convinced that he would have no place in his team of the 2000s.
He goes even further, adding that no player would be in his Purple team, comparing this Purple generation to a golden generation. He concludes by declaring that RSCA have nothing to lose against Porto on Thursday, unlike the Portuguese, who are under pressure.
