RSCA Futsal wins, but is eliminated

OTHER RSC Anderlecht Futsal finished the Elite Tour in Lisbon with a 3-2 victory over Plzen. With this win, purple and white finish in second place in the overall standings, with a total of 6 points, just behind Sporting CP. Saura and Perin (2) scored the goals for Anderlecht.


Anderlecht, however, with second place, was eliminated. It had to hope for a win by Braga against Sporting CP to still finish first and advance. However, in an exciting encounter in Lisbon, Braga failed to surprise against Sporting CP. The match ended in a 4-4 draw, which was enough for Sporting CP to qualify for the Final Four in May 2025. The team from Lisbon thus counts one point more than Anderlecht. 

All in all, purple and white looks back on the Champions League with satisfaction. It was, in this series, not a favorite to advance. However, it won twice and was only sent home with clear figures by Sporting.
