Zanka: 'Took time to adjust'

INTERVIEWS Zanka Jorgensen indicates that the club's defense has gotten stronger and stronger over the course of games and will continue to improve. He acknowledges in an interview that criticism is an inherent part of soccer, especially within big clubs. Jorgensen reveals “that he needed some time to adapt at Anderlecht, a process that is not always obvious.” Nevertheless, he stresses that the defense's recent performance, with several clean sheets, proves that the team is working well in the meantime.


However, the situation remains worrying, as there is a lack of alternatives due to injuries. During the game against OHL, Amando Lapage and Nunzio Engwanda were the only options on the bench, showing the vulnerability of the defense at the moment.
