TRANSFERS Nottingham Forest have identified Anderlecht's Moussa N'diaye as a priority for the winter transfer window. The club is ready to make an offer, but must convince Anderlecht, and they demand a high price.
The Senegalese defender has a contract until 2027, giving Anderlecht a strong negotiating position. Although his market value is estimated at around €2 million, Anderlecht would demand an amount above €10 million.
Ndiaye, who came to Anderlecht from Barcelona B in 2022, has impressed this season, partly by replacing the oft-injured Ludwig Augustinsson. He feels good in Belgium and has no immediate plans to leave.
His broker spoke with Anderlecht recently, stressing that decisions about his future should not be rushed.m. So Anderlecht can wait and see for now and ask for hefty sums, especially for a January transfer.
On top of that, Anderlecht still has an egg to fry with Nottingham Forest. In January 2023, Anderlecht had an agreement with both player Harry Toffolo and Nottingham Forest. However, the English club refused to sign at the last minute and the transfer fell through. Anderlecht even briefly started a legal battle, but abandoned it after about three months.
So now Nottingham appears to be looking to replace that same Toffolo with N'Diaye.
