INTERVIEWS The RSCA Futures suffered a disappointing defeat against Club NXT after a six-game unbeaten streak. The team started the second half weakly, resulting in a 3-0 loss. All goals fell in a short period I the second half. Coach Jelle Coen was visibly disappointed with this solid defeat. “We were in a good flow and expected a different result,” he said.

“The first half went well; we created chances without dominating the opponent. However, a poor start to the second half quickly led to two goals from stoppages, which we did not recover from. The third goal was the final blow,” Coen said.

He added that the team did play better again in the last phase of the match, but it came too late to prevent a bigger defeat.

With the winter break approaching, there are still two crucial matches ahead. “We have to win these matches, starting with the next one against Francs Borains, followed by Deinze, provided they don't go bankrupt. It is very important to take points,” Coen concluded.

RSCA Futures are currently in second last again but with possible points as their next two opponents. Jong Genk are in last place.
