Vlcek: “Slavia are not favourites”

INTERVIEWS Stan Vlcek played for RSCA between 2008 and 2009, before returning to his club Slavia Prague. He played 27 league matches in purple, scoring ten goals and providing six assists, and is currently Slavia Prague's team manager.

He has kept in touch with Olivier Deschacht, Jan Polak and Daniel Zitka. He's not convinced that Slavia Prague are favorites ahead of their match with RSC Anderlecht, and points out that RSCA have eleven points while Slavia Prague have four.
 
He is wary of Sporting, whom he describes as formidable, but Slavia's players have no choice but to try and win if they still want to hope for qualification. During his time at RSCA, he was approached by Antwerp and CS Bruges about a transfer.
 
He concludes by declaring that RSCA remains close to his heart, and he is planning a short stay in Belgium with his family in the near future.
