Patris: “I didn't reach the right level”

TRANSFERS Louis Patris is still under contract with RSC Anderlecht, which loaned him to STVV for this season. Despite regular talks with former coach Brian Riemer, Patris did not get the desired playing time at purple and white. At Sint-Truiden, he does play and the club has an option to buy. The player is open to activating this option, although he also says he will not make a decision about his future until the end of the season. He also does not rule out a return to Anderlecht.


Patris acknowledges that his earlier period at the club was unsuccessful and attributes this to his own performance; he failed to reach the desired level immediately.

Upon his arrival, Patris was given an opportunity but was unable to capitalize on it, unlike his teammate Killian Sardella. In an interview, he noted that there is little room for error at Anderlecht.

He also does not regret his departure, as he otherwise would have finished as the third choice behind Sardella and Thomas Foket.

Finally, Patris reported that he has very little contact with his former teammates.
