Zanka is allowed to play on Sunday

OTHER Zanka is allowed to play in Sunday's topper against Genk after all, according to Het Laatste Nieuws. The Danish defender was sent off yesterday in a highly debatable manner with direct red. The exclusion in itself was enough and Zanka comes away with a one match suspended.


Good news in the short term, but why Zanka still gets a suspension with a reprieve remains strange. Separate from this decision, moreover, the Dane already sits with four yellow cards behind his name, so a yellow suspension day is looming soon anyway.

Already last night, coach David Hubert questioned the decision to send Zanka off the field immediately after the match.
