OTHER Colin Coosemans acknowledges that the biggest challenge for his team will be to perform better against the top teams during the Champion's Playoffs. He stresses that this result does not mean much in the broader context of the competition. “In the first half, Genk had the upper hand,” Coosemans said, which he said was due to their effective game rotations. However, he noted an improvement in the second half, “But Genk's second goal made the tension disappear from the game.”
Coosemans points out that Anderlecht was a team without self-confidence during the first game against Genk, but that this is no longer the case. Anderlecht's current goal is to qualify for the Champion's Playoffs, with Coosemans indicating that everything is still possible.
He concludes by saying that Genk was a strong opponent, which more than justifies its first place in the league.
