Huerta: negotiations continue

TRANSFERS César Huerta would like to leave Pumas from Mexico and prefers Anderlecht as a new destination. At Anderlecht, the winger has to be the replacement of Edozie after this season. In addition, Amuzu could also leave during the summer period. In fact, Ciske was also looking for a transfer in previous seasons. But given his still short contract length and relatively high salary, a transfer could now be imminent.


In the short term, Huerta would then become an additional weapon, as he can also play on the right and in the center. It thus opens up additional attacking options with a player who in the Mexican league is very regular in scoring or decisive in passing (6 goals and 4 assists in the last 21 games). Although, of course, Mexico is not Belgium and that is why Renard also wants to complete the transfer during the winter. That way there is time for adjustment.

The player has a market value of about 6 million, but Pumas would be willing to drop the price to about a third given the expiring contract in June. However, Purple White would then apparently have to accept a very high resale percentage, something that is still being discussed with the Mexican. 

Huerta could sign for at least three years in Brussels.
