Zanka on his way to LA Galaxy

TRANSFERS Defender Mathias 'Zanka' Jorgensen, 34, is on the verge of signing with LA Galaxy. This news comes from Danish sources and confirms that the player, currently under contract with Anderlecht, is likely to make his move to the American MLS club for two seasons.


Anderlecht seems to have little chance of securing a transfer fee, as Zanka's contract expires at the end of this season and his future at the club was already uncertain.

His departure would force Anderlecht to find a replacement quickly. In particular, it also hopes Jan Vertonghen will return in early January.
