OTHER During this winter break, we take a look at how the players who left Anderlecht this summer are doing. Today we highlight the five first-team departures. While the oldest of the bunch are still riding high, the younger ones are having a harder time moving on.

Continue reading Ten starting places in 17 league games and four in six Champions League matches. Debast started the season as a bench player, but from early September he became a regular under coach Ruben Amorim. Against Lille, he scored a fantastic goal. After Amorim left for Manchester United, Debast lost his starting place. The last two league matches he did not even come off the bench.
Kasper Schmeichel (38, Celtic).
38 years old but not yet worn out. At Celtic, Schmeichel (pictured) has already played 29 games this season and he also remains the undisputed No. 1 in the Danish national team. In 19 league games, he barely swallowed seven goals against.
Kristian Arnstad (21, Aarhus)
Record purchase Arnstad has yet to make his mark at Aarhus. Five starts (replaced each time) and five substitutions are on the counter in the league. In the cup he started four times out of four games, but here too he was brought to the side three times early. With one assist, his statistics also look meager. Aarhus is fourth in the league.
Thomas Delaney (33, FC Copenhagen)
League, cup, Conference League: Delaney is a regular at FC Copenhagen. Nineteen starts and four substitutions have him on the counter. He has already scored two goals and provided two assists. Delaney and FC Copenhagen are in the lead in Denmark and wintering in Europe.
Federico Gattoni (25, River Plate)
Gattoni's return to his homeland has not yet been a success. He started with two starts, but then ended up on the bench. After twenty league games, his tally stands at five starts and one substitute. In the Copa Libertadores, he did not come off the bench in four games. The new Argentine league starts at the end of January.
