Van Holsbeeck and co referred to correctional court

OTHER There will indeed be a trial before the correctional court regarding the sale of RSC Anderlecht to Marc Coucke. Indeed, the Brussels chamber of indictment has referred broker Christophe Henrotay, Jo Van Biesbroeck and Herman Van Holsbeeck to the correctional court. The case concerns alleged fraud in the sale of the club to entrepreneur Marc Coucke in 2017. The investigation focuses on the possibility that Coucke was defrauded during the purchase, in which he bought 75 percent of the club for 59.2 million euros.

The federal prosecutor's office claims that the sale price was artificially increased and that Coucke was misled with falsified documents and false statements. The outgoing transfer of Leander Dendoncker was also allegedly rigged at the time. The trial is expected to begin effectively in late 2025 or early 2026.
