Stroeykens nominated for 'Youngster of the Year'

OTHER Mario Stroeykens is one of five nominees for the trophy of 'Promise of the Year' at the Gala of the Golden Shoe. The four other contenders are Bilal El Khannouss (Genk and Leicester), Matte Smets (STVV and Genk), Joaquin Seys and Christos Tziolis (both Club Brugge).

Last year Arthur Vermeeren (Antwerp) won, the year before Bilal El Khannouss. The last time an Anderlecht player won the award was in 2019 (Yari Verschaeren).
