Anderlecht wants to extend Stroeykens' contract

TRANSFERS Anderlecht would like to extend Mario Stroeykens' contract, which expires in 2026. Het Nieuwsblad reports. Purple-White is taking into account a departure this summer, but this way it is stronger at the negotiation table.


If Stroeykens leaves, Anderlecht wants to catch at least 20 million euros. It remains to be seen whether Stroeykens wants to extend his contract. It puts Anderlecht in a stronger position, but for interested clubs it is more interesting if he would only be under contract for one more year.
