Hubert: “We were absent for ten minutes”

OTHER David Hubert, Anderlecht coach, expressed his disappointment after the match about the defeat against Hoffenheim, which drew a line in direct qualification. “Ten minutes of inattention were crucial and every German chance resulted in a goal,” he said. According to Hubert, Anderlecht's defensive organization was insufficient during this period of the second half.
 


Despite the disappointing result, Hubert did not criticize his players. He was very satisfied about the first half, although he did mention a mistake in coverage during the equalizer shortly before halftime.

This leaves Hubert with a bitter aftertaste: “This defeat was unnecessary,” he added.
