Anderlecht also tried to get Mbamba

OTHER Just before the close of the transfer market, Anderlecht still tried to get Noah Mbamba. Purple-White suggested the Belgian talent split his time between the first team and the Futures, but he rejected the proposal.


The 20-year-old Mbamba opted to join Dender just before the closure of the transfer market. There he has more prospects of playing minutes in the top division.

Mbamba broke through at Club Brugge and moved to Leverkusen in January 2023. There he came to play sporadically. To accumulate more minutes, he was rented out last summer to Dusseldorf in the second Bundesliga. That did not become a success.
