Dendoncker: “There is still work to be done”

INTERVIEWS Leander Dendoncker scored the decisive goal that propelled RSC Anderlecht to the final of the Cup of Belgium. During his celebration, he announced that he will become a father for the second time and thanked his wife for her support in his career.


He now wants revenge for the 1-2 lost final against Bruges, in which he was the only player from the current selection (Dendoncker played at Anderlecht on March 22, 2015, the day of the then Cup final). He obviously hopes for a better result this time around: “We have time to prepare for that goal,” he said.

“We now have to keep getting results in the league, and the trip to Turkey is also coming up soon. There is still a lot of work to do,” he stressed.
