Amuzu plays 40 minutes in cup match

GAMES Francis Amuzu has made his debut for Grêmio in Brazil. The flank player played forty minutes in the cup against low-flying fourth division Sao Raimundo RR, yet it was quite a remarkable debut.


After half an hour Amuzu was allowed to fill in, but in minute 66 Sao Raimundo actually scored. Amuzu himself was substituted four minutes later, leaving him on the field for forty minutes. Afterwards, the coach explained that Amuzu can currently fill a maximum of sixty minutes.

Grêmio still managed to rectify the plight. At the last minute it equalized and then easily won the penalty kick series.
