Synthetic fibers provide better turf

OTHER The turf at Lotto Park is finally in better shape. Anderlech had the grass, which was renewed at the beginning of January, reinforced with sewn-in artificial fibers last week. The result was already visible yesterday against Fenerbahçe, but from the beginning of March the grass should get even better. Because then it will start to grow in abundance.


Reinforcing the grass with artificial fibers could not be done earlier due to the many matches that took place at Lotto Park. Last week, five days and nights were spent working to get everything in order.

Anderlecht does have the intention to completely renew the pitch after the season. The ground will be dug deeper so that everything will be renewed.
