Fine and stand closure as sanction after riots?

OTHER After the riots during Anderlecht - Fenerbahçe, there is a good chance that Anderlecht will have to keep part of the stands empty at their next European game. Purple and White still had a suspended penalty pending after previous support riots. The club can also expect a fine.
 


The suspended penalty is open after objects were thrown at the visiting goalkeeper during the home game against Ludogorets. Earlier Anderlecht was also punished for the Sociedad riots.

The fine hanging over Anderlecht's head for yesterday's acts is 20,000 euros.

There were also disturbances outside the stadium after the match. Five people were arrested.
