INJURIES Compared to the game against Standard, Anderlecht are not recovering any injured players. Yari Verschaeren and Tristan Degreef remain out, as does Kasper Dolberg. ‘Tristan and Yari are making steps, but Sunday is still too early,' coach David Hubert said. Anderlecht, meanwhile, is considering a practice match to allow injured players to gain rhythm.
‘With Dolberg it was already clear that he will not be deployable again until the play-offs,' Hubert said at his press conference this afternoon. ‘Tristan and Yari are making steps, but Sunday will be too early. They are clearly making progress, though. That is positive. Whether they will be there next week against Cercle? We'll see, but I'm not taking any risks.'
There is an international break after next weekend's game against Cercle. Hubert indicated that Anderlecht might then insert a practice match to allow players returning from injury to gain match rhythm.
