Goalkeeper Haentjens extended to 2027

OTHER Michiel Haentjens today extended his contract with Anderlecht until 2027. The 18-year-old goalkeeper recently played three matches for the Futures in 1B. “After almost ten years in our youth academy, we are looking forward to seeing him evolve in the Challenger Pro League,” Anderlecht said.


Michiel Haentjens is a goalkeeper who excels through his excellent technique with his feet, his reliability in the build-up and his accurate passes under pressure,” said Tim Borguet, head of the youth academy. “Michiel is athletic, technically strong on his line, exudes impressive composure in goal and manages his defense well.”
