Dolberg: “We believe in our qualities”

INTERVIEWS Kasper Dolberg made his return to the pitch yesterday after a knee injury that kept him sidelined for several weeks. Although the Anderlecht striker could not convince during the match at the Jan Breydel Stadium, he remains optimistic about his team's chances in the final of the Belgian Cup, which takes place in early May. “I haven't played for a while, it will take some time for me to get back to 100 percent,” the Dane declared after the match. Despite his positive attitude, the performance of both Dolberg and the team was disappointing.


Anderlecht lost 2-0 and struggled to be creative in attack while being pressured by Brugge. Dolberg played 60 minutes, but had little impact on the match. Still, Dolberg continues to believe in his team's qualities. “I know how good we can be and how much talent we have,” the striker said.

Despite criticism of the performance and doubts about Anderlecht's chances, he shows confidence in coach Besnik Hasi's new tactics. “We have to get used to the new ideas and the new coach. With time the confidence will come. We believe in what we are doing.”

With the final of the Belgian Cup coming up, Anderlecht has a lot of work ahead of them to improve team dynamics.
