Focus shifted to elite categories at youth

YOUTH There is some fuzz in the Brussels soccer world over youth training, especially with the closure of regional teams at Anderlecht, Union and RWDM. Anderlecht and Union have shifted their focus to elite categories, leading to the discontinuation of regional teams. This decision affects about 300 young players at Union and 200 at Anderlecht, who must now seek alternatives. The situation is worrisome, especially for parents of older youth players, as many clubs in Brussels are already full and there are few options.
