Joël Kana signs pro contract until 2028

OTHER Joël Kana, the 18-year-old brother of Marco, today signed a pro contract until 2028 with Anderlecht. The defender/midfielder returned from OH Leuven in 2023 and made his debut with the Futures this season. “One of my goals is to become an important player at the Futures,” he explained.
 


"Joel is a true Kana: his discipline and mentality, both on and off the field, show exemplary professionalism. He is a solid, dedicated and hard-working defender," said Head of Youth Training Tim Borguet. “It is now up to him to take the next step and show his full potential.”

The middle Kana, younger brother Cresus also plays at purple and white, also indicates that his dream is to play with older brother Marco in the first team, but that chance seems very slim. Marco may look for other places next summer.
