Anderlecht presses on for Cvetkovic

TRANSFERS According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky, Anderlecht has stepped up a gear to recruit Mihajlo Cvetkovic (18). The striker from Serbia's Cukaricki is considered one of the biggest talents in Serbia.


Cvetkovic's contract expires in 2026, which is why Anderlecht hopes to capture him for a lower fee. The amount would hover between 3 and 4 million euros (instead of 5 to 6). Earlier, Malmö seemed to bring in Cvetkovic, but from Germany it now sounds that Anderlecht would be furthest along in the negotiations. Indeed, Köln and Nurnberg are also showing interest. The striker scored seven goals in 26 games this season.
