YOUTH Anderlecht's youth teams have made a strong start in the playoffs, with the U14 as the standout winner. During the second day of play against Ghent, they achieved an impressive 5-0 victory, while the U13 triumphed 3-0. The U18 got stuck at 0-0, but recorded a solid performance against the former U16 champion from Ghent.

The U14, led by coach Haegeman, thus showed their strength with a resounding victory. The match started in balance, but a red card for Gent in the first quarter time gave Anderlecht an advantage. After halftime, Mujangi scored quickly, undermining the visitors' morale. In the end, the mauves scored four more goals, resulting in a convincing victory.

The U13, who earlier scored a disappointing draw against Ghent, were now victorious. After a balanced first half, Gent received a red card, which paved the way for Anderlecht. Zouragh and Bouchat provided the goals, securing the U13 their first victory in the playoffs.

The U18, who played with a rejuvenated team, could not score any goals against Ghent, but showed that they can perform in difficult conditions. The defense held up under pressure from the opponent, and the team thus captured a valuable point.

Line-up: Timmermans, Sankhare, Gounfissi (U16) (62' Mujangi Bia (U15)), Liema, Mahroug (c) (45' Djondo), Verstrepen (U16), Ojea (U16) (45' Onehese (U16)), Abdellaoui (69' Kalonji (U16)), Van de Ven (45' Bohamdi), Ghale, Biladi (U16)

By the way, the U18 had to miss these players: Onia-Seke (U23), De Ridder (U23), Djondo (U23), Vervloet, Seghers, Flies, Bentkib, Ede Eriyo, Milisic, Bethume, Bourard.
They therefore played with a team that, as can be seen in the lineup, was solidly supplemented with players from lower series.

In the coming weeks, the teams look forward to further challenges, with the U16 and U15 having their matches against Ghent postponed to April 30 due to tournaments.
