Vazquez seems to be leaving

TRANSFERS RSC Anderlecht will have to build a new squad in the summer. One who will almost certainly have to leave is Argentine striker Luis Vazquez, who has scored only 15 goals in 89 games. Anderlecht paid 4.5 million for the player but saw his market value drop to 3 million euros.


According to La Dernière Heure, the club doubts his qualities. Vazquez still has a contract until mid-2028, and Anderlecht hopes to receive several million for him to attract a replacement.

The departing loan players also further fill holes in the lineup, and at the back Vertonghen stops. It also looks like Verschaeren and Rits, who did not receive new contract offers and are still fixed until 2026, will be sold. And Ashimeru, who was extended last year, would also be allowed to dispose.
