OTHER Starting with the 2025-2026 season, RSC Anderlecht will switch to a fully digital access system for the Lotto Park. This system offers several advantages for supporters. With the introduction of mobile ticketing, fans will be able to obtain their tickets via the RSCA app, using digital tickets in the form of QR codes. This not only makes it easier to gain access, but also speeds up the scanning process at the stadium entrance. In addition, accessibility is maintained even without an Internet connection.
Free Wi-Fi hotspots will be installed at the stadium entrances in case a ticket still needs to be looked up and the mobile network is insufficient.
The security of the system will also be improved, as digital tickets cannot be transmitted anonymously. At the same time, legal resale does become a lot easier.
Another advantage of the digital system is sustainability; it reduces reliance on paper and plastic cards.
However, the transition to this new system also has some disadvantages. Fans without smartphones must find alternatives for obtaining their tickets, and technical issues, such as low battery, network coverage or app failures, can complicate access to the stadium. Finally, the digital transition can be challenging for supporters who are less familiar with technology. RSC Anderlecht assures that the ticket service will remain available to support fans in case of any problems. The implementation of the new system will take place gradually and is planned to be fully operational at the beginning of next season.
