Touba confirms interest from RSCA

TRANSFERS Ahmed Touba, the 27-year-old central defender, has confirmed that RSC Anderlecht showed interest in him during the winter mercato. Despite the club's interest, no agreement was reached. However, the club remains in contact with Touba and his entourage as part of the upcoming summer transfer window.


In addition, other, unspecified clubs have also expressed interest in him. Touba currently plays for Mechelen, but is actually under contract with Turkish club Basaksehir. Mechelen has the option to purchase him for 800,000 euros.
