Maamar: “Disappointed, but motivated for next matches”

INTERVIEWS Ali Maamar played against Antwerp as right back. “At the Futeres I played here many times,” he said afterwards. “You have to run a lot, but I like this position.”


Unlike Simic, Maamar does not think Anderlecht lacks confidence. “We showed beautiful things,” the young defender said. “We got more chances than in the previous matches. We now have to take that into the next duels. We're disappointed that we didn't win, but we go into the next matches with a lot of motivation.”
